Established in 1970 in a small Toronto Warehouse, Canada Goose is 100% Canadian. The down blends used in these coats uses Canadian Hutterite goose down, which is one of the top downs available for its ability to retain more warm air without adding weight. This down is a by-product of the poultry industry and therefore is not-live-plucked like many other types of down.
For the fur lining of the hoods, Canada Goose uses authentic coyote fur obtained from licensed Canadian trappers. Real fur offers a greater degree of warmth than fake fur in extreme cold, moist conditions.
Canada Goose’s TEI warmth index will help customers determine what level of insulation they will receive from any given jacket. Canada Goose has different designs for a number of outdoor lifestyles and pursuits.
