Summer

Sorry we haven’t blogged in a while! Summer is here and we have been enjoying every minute of it. The town of Jasper is full and the weather is spectacular!

We have been busy welcoming new arrivals and saying good-bye to old fav’s. Miss Me denim, Kenneth Cole footwear, and the much anticipated Canada Goose gear are the newest additions to Mountain Air Clothing. Also, we are having a sidewalk sale which includes premium denim, summery dresses and up to 60% off footwear. Hope to see you there!

Coloured denim

Everything is better in color-especially denim! It’s nice to have options in your closet and wearing colored pants is easy. Pick any color you desire then add a fun patterned top, or, if you prefer to be more subtle, a noble neutral will do the trick.

Featured here is Lisette, which has been raved about in marie claire and Good Housekeeping, Volt, a unique Montreal designer, and Lillie & Cohoe, fabulous luxury hats. We love them because of their perfect fit, quality, and creative styles.

30th Anniversary!

This month marks Mountain Air Clothing’s 30th year in business. Since 1983, it has been a destination for the boutique shopping experience and fashionable clothing in the Rocky Mountains.

May 17th marked the day when the original owner opened Mountain Air’s doors. To mark this occasion, we had a party hosted by the current owner, Karen Jacobs, with appearances from our fabulous customers and staff. It was night of wine, shopping and socializing. What’s not to love?

Now it’s the awkward time between winter and spring. One day the weather is sunny and the next it’s fridgid. You’re craving a new item to liven up you’re wardrobe but Mother Nature can’t make up her mind. The solution: layers!

It’s a great time to combine pieces you own with new ones. A down vest layered on a cozy sweater and a bright new scarf is ideal.
